Ingredients:
1 Packet Active Dry Yeast 1 c Hot Water 31/4 c All-purpose Flour 1 stick Butter 1 c C&H Granulated Sugar 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Nutmeg 1 Tbsp Grated Lemon Rind 4 eggs, unbeaten
Directions:
1. Stir yeast into water 2. Mix in 1 c flour 3. Set in warm place til bubbly (about 30 min) 4. In large mixing bowl cream butter, sugar, salt, and flavorings until fluffy 5. Beat in eggs one at a time 6. Beat in yeast mixture 7. Blend in the rest of the flour, beating smooth at moderately low speed 8. Pour into greased and floured 10c Tube pan/mold, let rise in warm area until batter is about 1/4 inch from top 9. Bake at 375ยบ for 50-60 minutes 10. Cool in pan and turn out
