Ingredients:
3c Sugar
1½c Shortening
3c All-Purpose Flour
2tsp. Vanilla
9 Eggs
Directions:
1. In mixer, cream shortening for 5 minutes, until fluffy
2. Add sugar & flour, cream for 5 more minutes.
3. Add eggs one at a time, scrape the bowl to make sure it's well blended
4. Add vanilla and mix
5. Pour in a greased tube pan, poke holes in batter
6. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 25 minutes
